Gutter Replacement and Repair in Warr Acres
Gutters have one job: carry roof water away from your home's walls and foundation. We look at how yours are working now, explain what is causing any overflow or sagging, and walk you through the fix in plain terms before you decide anything.
What gutter work involves
Most gutter trouble traces back to a short list: the gutter is too small for the roof it serves, it has lost its slope, the hangers have pulled loose, or the downspouts empty in the wrong spot. Each has its own fix, and some don't call for new gutters at all.
When replacement is the right answer, we install continuous aluminum gutters shaped on site to fit each stretch of your roof edge. Joints only show up where runs turn a corner, which leaves far fewer spots to drip. We also check the fascia board behind the gutter, because a gutter can only be as sturdy as the wood holding it.
Our crew brings over 20 years of combined roofing experience, and that helps here. Gutters sit right where the roof edge, drip edge and fascia meet, and plenty of leaks blamed on gutters actually start at the shingles.
What's included when we do your gutters
- Sizing the system to your roof
- We measure how much roof drains to each edge and how steep it is, then decide whether 5-inch or 6-inch K-style gutters fit. Big or steep roof sections often need the larger size to handle a hard spring storm.
- One-piece runs with hidden hangers
- Each run is shaped from a single piece of aluminum and held up with screw-in hidden hangers set roughly two feet apart. The older spike-and-ferrule method tends to loosen over the years, which is a common cause of sagging.
- Correct slope
- We give each run a slight fall toward its outlet, about a quarter inch over ten feet. Set it too flat and water sits; set it too steep and it looks crooked and can shoot past the outlet.
- Downspouts placed with drainage in mind
- We set each downspout where the ground can actually take the water, then fit an extension or a splash block so the discharge lands well clear of your foundation. Corners that collect water from a large stretch of roof can get oversized 3x4 downspouts.
- Fascia and drip edge check
- Before anything new goes up, we check for soft or rotted fascia and missing drip edge. If wood needs replacing, we show you what we found and explain the cost before we touch it.
Signs your gutters need attention
Overflow during heavy rain
When rain pours over the outer lip instead of draining, the gutter could be clogged, too small or sloped the wrong way. We pin down the cause before recommending anything.
Drooping runs or gaps at the fascia
If a run bows down between its supports or a gap opens between the gutter and the trim board, the fasteners have usually worked loose or the wood behind them has softened.
Stains, peeling paint or rot
Dark streaks on siding, peeling trim paint or crumbling fascia boards mean water is running behind the gutter instead of into it.
Pooling near the foundation
Puddles or washed-out soil under a downspout point to a short or missing extension. Oklahoma clay soil swells when it is soaked, which can put stress on slabs and foundation walls.
Leaking joints and corners
Drips at joints are common with sectional gutters as the sealant ages. Resealing can buy time, but repeated leaks usually mean the system is due.
Dents after hail
Hail often dents gutters and downspouts before you notice any roof damage. That's a reason to look closer at the shingles too, which our Storm Damage Repair page covers.
What moves the price of a gutter job
Most of a gutter price comes down to two things: how many feet of gutter your home needs, and what has to be repaired behind it. Our written estimate breaks each piece out on its own line. You can see exactly where the money goes and decide on any options yourself.
Total footage and corners
Each added foot of gutter means more material and more labor, and each corner where two runs meet adds a bit more. A plain ranch roofline is quicker to price and hang than a house with several bump-outs and jogs.
How a gutter job goes
- 1
A walk-around and plain answers
We look over your gutters, downspouts, fascia and roof edge, take photos, and tell you what we see. If a repair will do the job, we say so.
- 2
A written estimate you can read
You get a line-item estimate showing gutter size, length of each run, downspouts, extensions and any wood repair, so nothing hides inside one lump total.
- 3
Install day
We take down the old gutters, repair fascia if needed, then shape and hang the new one-piece runs. Most homes are done in a day, and you don't need to be inside or move anything.
- 4
Testing the flow, then cleaning up
Before we leave, we pour water into each run and watch it reach every outlet. Then we haul off the old metal and sweep up fasteners and scraps around your home.

Answers to common gutter questions
Can my old gutters be repaired, or is it time for new ones?
Often a repair does the job. Loose hangers, a clogged outlet or one dripping corner can be fixed quickly. When the gutters are undersized for the roof, badly dented or leaking at joint after joint, new ones usually cost less over the years than repeated patching, and we'll explain why for your particular house.
How are one-piece gutters different from sectional gutters?
Sectional gutters come in short lengths joined roughly every ten feet, and each joint can start dripping once its sealant ages. Continuous gutters are formed on site from a single coil to match each stretch of roof edge. That leaves joints only at corners and outlets, so far fewer spots can fail.
Should I replace my gutters when I replace my roof?
If your gutters are old or sagging, doing both together is usually easier, since the drip edge and fascia are already open. If they are still in good shape, we can often keep them. Our Roof Replacement page explains how the roof edge ties in.
Are you licensed to do this work?
Yes. We hold an Oklahoma general contractor license, and our crew brings over 20 years of combined roofing experience to each gutter job.
Do you work outside Warr Acres?
Yes. We install and repair gutters in Bethany, The Village, Nichols Hills, Oklahoma City and other nearby towns. You'll find the full list on our Service Areas page.
